With my old Sony HD, I had no issues (only 1080p contents).
issues started with new LG OLED UHD screen (with 1080p and 4K HDR contents), it's becoming very very annoying !
And recently, I upgraded from Shield tube version to the Pro one, but issues still remain !

It's becoming very annoying !
any helps are welcome .

Disabling hardware acceleration definitely fixes the problem, but this is obviously not ideal as I can't play 4K vídeos without hw acceleration and there are streaming apps that does not even give you the option.

Eventually, I only see a solution in Sony providing some fix to their hw acceleration firmware....
