Yes, but is there any way to make it work?  

Not as far as I know... that is just the way bulbs work. you can't control them if your PC is on a different network (that is why it is called LAN control in Yeelight app)  

But, my PC is in the same LAN as my bulbs, they have the same 192.168.1.x address and i can get to all my other devices in the LAN when my vpn is on from the pc where the vpn is at. Isn't that strange?

Ok I saw there is a bug with this version.

I saw I've to capture the config file on my computer in v17 and copy it on my rasp in v18 but what I have to copy please ?

Ok i installed kodi 17.6 on a laptop, put the app on it, and it seems to work, great. Then i got to kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.yeemee and copy the file to my kodi 18 pc.
But nothing happens, check that hardware is off in video. Played same video when testing. Is there anything else i am forgetting or should be doing ? Thanks in advance.

I can't check on Pi, but on Windows it is Kodi folder, then userdata\addon_data\service.yeemee\settings.xml

I wasn't aware of that... I installed the original repository, then the add-on itself and then I tried to set it all up from within the add-on's configuration window.

I will try to install Kodi 17 now and then copy the config across to 18.

I'd need the whole log to tell what is going on. The second error seems irrelevant, you just don't have some addon.

So it works in normal mode on start/on end etc but not Ambi? did you try hardware acceleration? Read 1st page of the topic it is explained there.
