sorry. this is not possible today. each media-window has its own seperate playlist/slideshow. there have been other requests for this level of integrated playlits functionality.
you can use "my files" to play any type of media file, but thats it.

if someone with half a brain could knock up a screen saver that would play an .avi, then i could post a divx of the fishtank dvd on a torrent site and we would at last have our fishtank screen saver....

Is it possible to run an AVI file as a screensaver (without the sound) during MP3 playback?
I have a stupid DVD of a fishtank that I've converted into an XviD file. It looks great at 720p and I'd love to have it running as a screensaver.
Any way to do this?
Thanks in advance.

Gamester17,
Thanks for moving this. I thought there was a thread about this. I tried the search, but couldn't find it.
Too bad there isn't a developer out there who would like to write a nice "actual" screensaver to do this. It would be a very cool feature. Sometimes the swirly, abstract visualizations get a bit much. Something like a fireplace or a aquarium would be a great alternative.
Thanks again.

Great news.
Take all of the luck you can get. Anything that will help. ;-)
