librtmp - Help Thread
Hi, could anyone help me with installing this on OSMC rasp pi 2.

I have downloaded the file from RedPenguin folder but I can't seem to figure out where and how to place the file. I have it on a USB drive but I can't copy and paste it in OSMC.

Thanks
Hello,
Could someone explain the benefit of installing spmc apk with the lib updated signed instead of the normal kodi 14.2 for android. Also what if I reboot my box with SPMC APK WITH LIB, will the LIB still be there when I plug back in the box.
Thank You.
Just curious, why the latest Librtmp is not integrated in the the new Kodi releases. On every update we have to replace it, anyone know why, just curious.

Thanks buddy, gonna try tomorrow and will update you

I have tested that file but there is a problem either RedPenguin has forgot to include Shani's librtmp or there is something wrong with this compiled package. How to verify it ?
(I have tested Shani's =>>> Zemtv =>>> sports channels)

Hello SuperCeleron,

I hope you will get some time to compile Gotham with updated Library.
I have also tested some other Addons which sadly even won't started.
Hope will get something from you sooner.

Thanks
afzal i don't compile gotham i compile the lib, and compiling for a old version i need to reset my options for a older ndk and i really don't want to.
To much work for a old xbmc/kodi build :/
And that apk is with the latest lib.
1º use the addon, then upload the log and post it here.

Thanks
Good afternoon,

I am using Kodi 14.2 on my Ipad but when I update librmtp either by Koditools or manually using redpenguin latest files when I restart Kodi it crashes.

It's working fine if I don't change librtmp.

Is there any idea of what I may do to solve this issue?

Thank you very much for your great work. Smile

I was told that the librtmp should be updated for some Livetv channels to to be able to stream. Confused
Hello, the same is happening to me in 14.2.
I've upgraded to 15 isengard and the librtmp file changed is name from librtmp.0.dyi to librtmp.1.dyi, can i just rename the file?
Thanks in advance
Stop screwing around and leave the file alone

Hi Martijn, some streams only work with the latest patch which include some RTMP fixes.

Take a look here (popcornmix newclock4 commit):

Hei Fightnight
does it means that a new version of librtmp will be released? I am using the February version in my Pi2 with the official Openlec build
