Can anyone advise how well the nVidia remote control works with Kodi? It's got two buttons below the navigation circle. What do these buttons do in Kodi?
I wouldn't want to buy the remote if it has no back button functionality or something in Kodi.

I don't have the remote, but I believe that the 2 buttons are back/return and Home, which takes you back to Android TV home screen.
Unless you are just wanting a matching set, I would save my money and buy a more versatile remote to use for Kodi.

Good to know, what about the Kodi add on, that way it will only be in operation during Kodi use. I couldn't get it to work on my Nexus Player. My Shield is still on the way.

It would never save the settings, it received all info correctly, I would save and exit, nothing took, go back in and the settings were there as though nothing had been done.
I posted this in the thread at the time.

In the latest build I can find - kodi-20150531-0340d4e-shield-armeabi-v7a.apk ::
The option to use "Always use the Channel Numbers from the Backend(s)" is missing from the LiveTV screen when I enable the MythTV.PVR add-on. It is the only PVR add-on I have enabled. I have not loaded a "generic" image to see if it is there - is this a known specific issue to these builds?
Other than that, it is working well except for some slight degradation due to lack of MP2/VC1 decoders at times.
TIA,
-G

Do you have frame rate switching and hd audio though?
