Switching from build #0201 directly to #0204 I am able to regularily provoke a crash using up/down arrows to switch between one Live TV playing channel to another.

Of note, this downgraded the Si2168-B40 firmware from 4.0.19 to 4.0.11, solving the DVB demodulation/tuning problem with kernels later than 4.1.

It will work for anyone except for DVB-T2 users and channels employing Multi-PLP, e.g. from Russia. Compare http://www.mail-archive.com/linux-media%...89325.html

Firmware 4.0.19 will require unknown patches to the kernel driver.

With the latest build #205 Live TV audio is working again so that's great!
Als my system.d NFS mount works again, no more trouble with rebooting or shutting down Smile

But with Live TV I have some trouble watching MPEG2 channels, the audio seems OK but the video is playing in slowmotion it seems.
Also switching from an MPEG2 TV channel to an MPEG4 (H264) channel does not work.

You are using Amber which isn't supported. Switch to Confluence until Amber updates to support Krypton.
You have set the audio latency to 150ms. It suggest you return it to default (50ms).
Switch "Resample quality" back to high (you are on gpu).
I'd be interested if enabling omxplayer in "video/acceleration" settings helps

Hi again,

after a lot of additional testing I finally found the problem.
Especially trying recordings pointed the way...

In short, the pi was connected to a bad network switch ...
I guess other devices, laptop android tablet played fine because of other caching behaviour.

For now latest build (205) and also earlier builds work fine with live-tv (tvheadend on dedicated machine in network).

With about a month of RPi2 and OpenELEC usage under my belt, let me start by sharing my gratitude for the active community of developers and enthusiasts out there.

After moving up to 205 from 116 this afternoon I discovered high-pitched distorted audio in DTS-HD and DTS streams in my Despicable Me 2 3D ISO. The AC3 commentary streams played fine, and all audio streams (including DTS) worked in the 2D ISO file. Downgrading to 204 and 203 had the same results, but 202 played the DTS streams in the 3D ISO normally.

As a point of comparison, the DTS-HD stream in A Christmas Carol 3D ISO was consistently good. Am I dealing with a quirky Despicable Me 2 3D ISO or is there some other explanation for the different audio results I'm getting across the builds?
