Yes use chewitts build for now (post again if it needs updating). There will be progress on Kodi 16 based builds soon.

as you're on Intel hardware, you can use my OE 7.0 beta build, which includes Kodi 16.0 final. I use the TVH client and it works no problem (TVH back end is on my NAS). Image and update links found on the Kodi Chromebox wiki page.

whatever is in the OpenELEC master branch, that's all I'm building. Milhouse and fritsch are pulling in a lot of newer components; I am not.
