Of you want to use Chewitt builds, does one need a special tv headend service add on? I can't get these builds to work with Live TV.
Otherwise I am still with your build #1121, but try as well your current krypton builds.

Can you go in to more detail about this?

as you're on Intel hardware, you can use my OE 7.0 beta build, which includes Kodi 16.0 final. I use the TVH client and it works no problem (TVH back end is on my NAS). Image and update links found on the Kodi Chromebox wiki page.

Which service addon do you add to this? Which version of TVHeadend service addon?

whatever is in the OpenELEC master branch, that's all I'm building. Milhouse and fritsch are pulling in a lot of newer components; I am not.

Hi Milhouse,

does this build support Java-Menus in BD-iso files?

Cheers,

Hi!

Lately I started to observe a strange thing. When rebooting/shutdown I see that unmounting /storage is failed. The obvious reason (open files left) doesn't seem to be the case:

Quote:lsof | grep storage
293 /usr/sbin/connmand /storage/.cache/connman/ethernet_b8aeed77a080_cable/data
550 /usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log
550 /usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin /storage/.kodi/userdata/Database/Addons22.db
550 /usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin /storage/.kodi/userdata/Database/Textures13.db
550 /usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin /storage/.kodi/temp/commoncache.db

Any suggestions?

Which service addon do you add to this? Which version of TVHeadend service addon?

whatever is in the OpenELEC master branch, that's all I'm building. Milhouse and fritsch are pulling in a lot of newer components; I am not.

The service add-on for TVHeadend is installed after updating. Where do you get them? Which version?
Milhouse provides them for each of his builds (odds and sods).

Milhouse provides them for each of his builds (odds and sods).

PVR addons are installed from the official OpenELEC addons repo, no? I'm just including the repo, like any official OE build does. I have no idea what versions of specific addons are included currently

edit: just checked my main box, the TVHeadend client is version 2.2.13
PVR add-ons are included with each test build so they're always the latest from master - they're not the same you download from the official repository (as these are typically much older and out of date).

The latest Tvheadend master is available as a zip: http://milhouse.openelec.tv/builds/addons

Hi Milhouse,

PVR recordings are broken in this build - they are fixed in in latest now

I know you like doing weekly releases but if you wanted to do a build for this it would be good.

Thanks,
Hi,

I tried the test build but I have a strange issue: I can't use 1080p@50 or 1080p@60Hz resolutions as the screen continues to blank out and try to resynch. No issues with lower resolutions like 720p or 1080i@30, but the interface is a bit sluggish like this.

The thing is, I had no problem with the stable openelec release. With a bit of tinkering I noticed that if I connect the HDMI directly to the TV, 1080p@60 works fine, but it doesn't when I go through the Onkyo A/V receiver. I'm using a Zbox with i5 CPU and integrated HD4000 graphics card.

So, what changed between the stable release and this testbuild, that interferes with the Onkyo receiver? Tried with builds from March 7th and March 14th.

Thanks!
