OK, tested by watching a 720p TV show, after it was done, the GUI cut off the time "PM" after about 40, it corrected itself. I was able to repeat this 3x in a row.
I also tested by manually stopping the show, and it had the same affect, cutting off the PM. Note that time display during playback is displayed correctly, only after the show is stopped, and in the folder display do I see the issue.

Ok that looks different to the situation I had - in your photo, all the skin elements appear to be positioned correctly apart from the clock, which seems to be too far over to the right and is being chopped. Maybe this is a skin bug after all.

So it's not a simple case of TV overscan?
The auto-correct is probably something coming from the TV, I haven't seen computer boxes do that by themselves.

Since version # 0615 the built-in wget has broken, it is impossible to download the software update from this forum (an incomplete file is downloaded). In the version # 0614 and earlier - everything works.
