I wonder whether some problems could have arised, because my installation was somehow a miracle. I installed LibreELEC when it didn't support my board. Usually the installer cant start at all. Then I tried out different custom builds because of hardware issues.
Now I wonder whether it could help if I start with a fresh LibreELEC alpha installation. Actually I don't need this cutting edge as I have currently. Or is it a desperate move because maybe all files are replaced or updated by an update?

Is there any way to get hardware decoding from an old Lenovo Thinkcenter? It has an Intel q43/45 video chipset build in.
I've been testing it but am unable to get anything but software decoding.

Intel discontinued the GM45 h264 driver long before it was really ready ... I would not invest any time in this system.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Roger, already swapped in a Nvidia 8400 and all is working perfectly, thanks again.
Second question:
I have a tp-link tl-wn822n v3.0 that is not recognized when I plug it in. Can't see networks or anything. Is this one supposed to be supported?

What's weird is I left it connected in it's non working state for about an hour and suddenly it's working... Not sure why or how but I am happy. I think this controller is the 8192, if that matters
