To expand on the above post, I'll most likely be including RPi4 test builds in this thread (3 builds per day, RP/RPi2/RPi4) but it may not be soon as the RPi4 code base is not yet "Kodi 19 ready" and that is still a work in progress. What has been released today as LibreELEC 9.2 for RPi4 is based on Kodi 18.3.
The RPi4 support will be merging soon to LibreELEC master so you may see RPi4 references in future changelogs but until the RPi4 has Kodi 19 support it will not be possible to publish RPi4 test builds in this thread.
New firmware is required to support the RPi4, and changes to LibreELEC source code to support RPi4 may have unintended side effects on RPi/RPi2 builds, so it's important to get this RPi4 code into LibreELEC master even though there may not be RPi4 builds in the immediate future.
Note that it is possible to boot LibreELEC RPi4 builds on RPi3 (Cortex-A53-based RPi) devices, however this is not (currently?) supported and issues (including crashes) are to be expected. LibreELEC RPi2 builds on RPi4 hardware will not work.

I hope framepackaed (MVC) 3D will be supported as in other RPis and not forgotten about - there's still a lot of people, like myself, playing 3D content. The RPi is one of the few Kodi players that supports it natively. Good to see it's still there in the hardware - I'm guessing the h264 block is the same as in the earlier Videocore.

I don't know if the devs can answer this yet, but which Raspberry Pi 4 would recommend for future LibreELEC releases? 1,2 or 4GB RAM?
