Xbmc doesn't crash anymore but i still get a popup with:
Unable to connect to remote server
Would you like to continue scanning
Older compiles( pre 9 june ) works ok.
I will check my log tomorrow

Just to confirm : everything still works fine for me with xbmc git from June 3rd, so it's all XBMC's fault :p

Yes, there are other threads about this. Basically they merged a huge subsystem from another fork. It's going to be very rocky for a while.
If you just want XBMC to work (why the hell are you running git) go back to before the merge. If you want to help this problem. Start submitting bug reports.
Code:
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON `xbmc_%`.* TO 'xbmc'@'%';
IF you have a mysql problem, find one of the 4 dozen threads already open.

Have you submitted a feature request/bug report? Has someone been assigned the ticket and marked it closed?
Otherwise it'll never happen.
Code:
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON `xbmc_%`.* TO 'xbmc'@'%';
IF you have a mysql problem, find one of the 4 dozen threads already open.
