Just wondering why in Settings > Skin Settings, the TV Shows category is greyed out and I cannot turn it on/off like the other categories.
Sorry if this was mentioned previously. Maybe I have overlooked something simple.
Thought I would check before messing with the xml config files myself.
Thanks,

I recently downloaded nightlies "XBMCSetup-20111003-31113d1-master". Touched is in the windows version. Is it going to be a permanent download for windows alongwith confluence?

Hi Jezz_X,
First off - love the skin. I've been using it for a few months on long flights and it's the first time I've felt that XBMC on the iPad is actually properly usable (beyond simply being a universal video player).
I do however have a suggestion - controlling playback with gestures.
On my home (tv) setup, I quite often use left/right/up/down for jumping around - short back/short forward/long back/long forward respectively.
It'd be really handy to have this functionality on the touchscreen as well (single finger left/right/up/down swipe) - if that is in fact doable. It is especially useful when travelling as there's often a need to jump back a little after an announcement/some food is delivered/whatever.
There was also a chap requesting volume control.. if I may suggest that'd be dual finger up and down swipe, which replicates what I (and I guess most) people do on their Macs when using VLC/Movist (scroll up/down is linked to volume by default in quite a few apps as I've no doubt you know).
Anyway - just a couple of thoughts.
Thanks again,
Kent

that sort of things really not in the skins control its more on the c++ side. Also the reason I haven't added volume yet is because xbmc can't control the iOS volume yet its pretty much semi pass through at full volume all the time

kentmartin: If you learn to edit your keymap.xml file, you should be able to specify what swipe left, right, up and down does during the playing of video. And have it do something else entirely when a video is not playing.
All this is the more advance side of XBMC.

Touched skin is awesome. I like it.
I used Touched skin in my iPad2 but I could not find a way to edit an existing network source. I could not find a way to delete it either.
Two figure click does not bring up the context menu. I hope the Touched skin have a virtual button to bring up context menu.
Was I missing anything?
