I have recently purchased a ZBOX HD-ID11, I am running Windows 7 and XBMC it is directly connected via HDMI to my LCD TV (no other sound equipment involved)
Now the audio works for most Video but not all, the issue seems to be with 1080p mkv's (But not all of them)
I get the following error -
Failed to initialize audio device - check your audio settings
I have installed the latest audio driver from Zotac's site -
•ZBOX HD-ID11 onboard HD Audio driver for Win 7 & Vista Updated: 05/18/2010 07:29 PM
I uninstalled all audio drivers via device manager but now I have, 4x NVIDA High Definition Audio and one RealTek High Definition Audio. Is that correct?
Audio output: HDMI
Speaker Configuration: 2
Boost volume level on downmix: Enabled
- Dolby Digital (AC3) capable receiver: Enabled
- DTS Capable Receiver: Enabled
Audio output device: Direct Sound NVIDA, Direct Sound Only, Direct Sound RealTek, WMSI (or something close) NVIDA, WMSI (or something close) RealTek
I HAVE TRIED ALL OF THE LATTER
Any help would be appriciated :-)
Thanks
Matt
