hi,

im new using xbmc and i need some help.
when i go to videos / tv series / ... i have library mode on and if i open for example tv series "lost" i have several seasons, i open season 1 (everuthing is correct till this point) then if i press escape it goes to the home screen.
now if i open tv series again it will go directly to "lost"\season 1
i can i configure this to go to "all tv series" view like it did when i opened it for the first time?

Ah easy one.

Esc: Home menu (remembering the last menu-position when you return to it)

What you want to do is hit backspace as it will move back up the directories until you get to the home screen.

Backspace: Parent Directory

it works in that specific case but...
if i go to a local video source that is marked as default
if i click backspace it will take me to the root area, not inside the default folder like it does the first time i open it

You can use "Home" key to go to the top of the folder.
