ISO files fail to play
#1
Just installed xbmc on ATV2. Everything looks good. Can't play ISO files. I haven't tried much else - mainly because my entire collection is in ISO format.

Verified that almost all movies play on my XBMC desktop installation.

Tried running ATV with wired gige connection - still failed.

Log is: http://pastebin.com/eT6KZJHK

Apologize for the simultaneous scraping interleaved in the log file.

screen res: 1280x720
OS darwin 11.0.0
XBMC PRE-10.0 Git 4b032be

Have you tried to install the latest nightly build.
If not, try that.

That worked. To sort of hijack this thread with some more questions:

1) Why does the nightly build show 10.0-0 versus 10.0-7 as the official relase
2) Buffering a lot a and a few stutter. I'm running 802.11g - I assume that's the issue. I will be move to 802.11n next week.
3) Is the video quality completely a function of my original ISO out on the NAS or is there other converting going on?

Thanks!

You might also make sure when you set up your wireless N (or even with the Wireless G) that you manually specify a non-congested/least congested channel, and don't use anything other than 1, 6, or 11.
