I had library function working on the xbmc windows vista. But now that fuction is no longer available. How can I get that option back?

If you mean that the library option is greyed out, this usually means you haven't got any media scanned to the library. You just need to scan your stuff.

I think this can also happen if you've used a nightly build, as the nightly build updates the library to a version that the release v10.1 can't use.
