hey all. running win 7/xbmc on a revo 1600 with 2gb ram. MCE remote.

i'm trying to map the OSD trigger (currently on the "enter" button down by "clear) to the info/more key, as my wife and i have to download subtitles a fair bit.

any tips? i pull up the osd on my keyboard by pressing "m", but assigning that to info doesn't work.

i feel like i'm missing a step. i've also tried restarting windows afterwards.

i don't get any confirmation box or anything when i push "ok" after i have made changes, but the changes are holding through a restart.

please help!

What model of remote do you have? How are you assigning buttons on the remote? With MCERemote add-on? If so, have you tried using the Showkey app to see what keystrokes are being sent?

I have an RC6 with USB ir.

and yes, been using the MCE addon.

i will check out the showkey app, thanks.

where does one get teh showkey app? i don't see it in the addon menu.

There's also a keymap editor on there, which might make life easier.
