XBMC and apache
#1
I have been wanting to get a dedicated xbmc box up and running for a while now, and now that i am getting ready to move into a new house I am thinking this is a perfect time to make it happen.

I have an OpenNas device that I will store all of my media on, and am thinking of putting together an ION system to run XBMC. Since this will be running most all of the time, I thought it would be perfect to run apache from since I use it for other home automation devices.

My question is would an XBMC box support running both?

There should be no problem running Apache on even an Atom based system, provided you have enough memory.

I've had Apache, MySQL, MythTV, my home-brewed home-automation server (Java) and XBMC running on an Acer Revo 1500 without any hitches.
