Hi,

Saturday I've installed xbmc (stable) on friend's windows mini laptop. Installed some apps like subtitles, youtube, grooveshark etc. But none of them are working. Can someone please look at the log file and explain what's causing this error?

For future reference, you need to enable debug logging from System settings, System, Debugging.

Your log shows multiple errors: ERROR: Error Contents: HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized

Is the Internet access through a proxy server that needs a username and password?

He enabled the proxy server in settings, that's indeed the reason why the scripts didn't work.
