Somewhere local that you can browse to using the setting 'locate mlbhls'.

Excellent work!
Got this running on OpenElec on my celeron NUC last night. I had to use the 'file in file out' option and set the buffer for the max (24 mb, i think) but it looks great; better than the mlb.tv app on my PS3 which flickers since the update around the all star break. Also, now I dont have to hear the jet engine fans of the PS3 while watching baseball.

I was having buffering problems last night. Seemed to be when something else on my LAN was using internet bandwidth.
question about the bit rate settings: There is setting for "starting" bit rate, and ones for "min" and "max". I havent noticed the bit rate ever changing while watching a game (like how it changes and looks crappy on the PS3 or ATV2 when there isnt enough bandwidth). Does using "file in file out" make the min/max setting not work?
I should also not that i'm running this addon off of the USB 2.0 thumb drive that openelec is on so that could be the cause of the buffering issues. My SSD should arrive today or tomorrow and i can see if there is a difference then

I got my SSD and installed Openelec and then MLBMC-HLS on it and now the games wont play. I dont even get the 15 second thing that should pop up when i select a feed
here are the few of the lines with the MLBMC tag from the log:
17:40:35 T:140723309504256 NOTICE: [MLBMC(mlbhls)-0.1.5]: Platform: Linux
17:40:35 T:140723309504256 NOTICE: [MLBMC(mlbhls)-0.1.5]: MLB-HLS is not running.
17:40:35 T:140723309504256 NOTICE: [MLBMC(mlbhls)-0.1.5]: Script Finished
i have mlbhls pointed to and executable
and its a mlb.tv issue since i can watch the game if i boot from the openelec thumb drive

Humm... my first thought is that you have a newer version of openelec and need to get the updated binary. Try the link in my reply above to the openelec forum.

I'll try the newer binary when i get home. Its the same version of Openelec, i assume, since i installed it from the same thumb drive copy that i can currently get the MLBMC-hls addon to run on. Thats why i thought it was weird that 2 identical installs produced different outcomes.
Is there any way to test the mlbhls at the command line level while SSHed into openelec?

Yeah, if you look in the xbmc log you'll find something like -
NOTICE: [MLBMC(mlbhls)-0.1.5]: Target: mlbhls -B aHR0cDovL.......
That is the command line we send to mlbhls.
