[LIVE} How can I pass mplayer a option?
#1
I have a badly made tv rip of a show that has not been repeated or released on disc and it has a constant static hiss that I know how to overcome in tests on my laptop by giving mplayer the "-af sinesuppress" option.

But I can't find a way to do that on my HTPC.

I have even tried making a ~/.mplayer/config file but XBMC seems to ignore it.

How can I find a way to watch this on my HTPC?

uhm, xbmc hasn't used mplayer since the xbox days.

I thought it still did since the wiki says that any codec or format requests should be directed at mplayer and ffmpeg then they would make it into XBMC.
