You ever thought that your amplifier is just crap when nothing on the ATV2 can play DD on it ?
Do you have the posability to connect the ATV2 with HDMI direct to the TV ? If yes, tell us the results. Nut sure how good TV's handle DD.

P.S.: When no developers pop in as you say, have patience. We are not too many developers working on the iOS port.

My receiver is far from crap. I have tried going HDMI ATV to TV with OPTICAL ATV to Receiver with no luck.

I can try going HDMI to TV and OPTICAL from TV to RECEIVER

PS. I have complete patience with devs coming into threads. It's the devs with a saucy attitude I have a problem with.
