Hey everyone, Ive read some posts on here about IR Receivers and the Harmony remotes and just wanted to check here before I make a purchase. It sounds like the hp 5188-1667 is the receiver to get....Is this still the case or is there a better one out there?
Thanks for any input!

The HP receiver has worked extremely well for me with the Harmony 900, programmed as both MCE Remote and MCE Keyboard. It's also pretty darn cheap on eBay, so I wouldn't waste a ton of time and/or money looking for something better.
On a side note, it also has a nice long USB cable if you intend to tuck your HTPC away out of sight. This is more meaningful than you might think, since pretty much every other IR receiver I've used or seen has a short (3' maybe) cord or is USB stick style.
