Hi,
My setup is as follows:
XBMC 10.1, Mac OS X 10.6.7
Audio connected by TOSLINK to a Sherwood amp
I'm trying out XBMC 10.1 after using the older version for a long time. My problem is this:
When playing a DTS/AC3 movie, the amp switches correctly and all is good. If I pause playback for more than (say) 10 seconds, the amp switches out of DTS/AC3 mode to 'Stereo'. When I resume playback, the amp switches to 'Multi PCM' instead of the correct AC3/DTS mode and the audio is all ghostly and weird. I tested this with the older version of XBMC and the behaviour is different. When I pause a movie there, the amp stays in DTS/AC3 mode for as long as the show is paused - so resuming playback is good.
Any ideas?
Phil.
