i dont specifically know what MG means but,
checking the specs, the MG version has
64-bit Memory Interface & 1200MHZ Effective Memory Clock

while the D3 version has
128-bit Memory Interface & 1600MHZ Effective Memory Clock

overall, i would get the ASUS ENGT430/DI/1GD3(LP)

alright thanks... I want to get something local since I rather not wait for shipping. And they don't have that asus.
My Canada Computers has this asus gt520 in stock

You think that would fit/work?
It's fanless so nice and quiet although would heat be a concern?

the zotac gt430 heatsink is too thick for mini-itx case. these cards should fit- Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5450 1GB and Gigabyte (GV-R645OC-1GI) AMD Radeon HD 6450.

I just tried a 1080p video sample (the cloverfield one in this thread http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=36803) . The bitrates spiked up to 25mb/s and my 3450 was playing it fullspeed.
I also tested a few of my own 1080p videos and they all ran flawlessly.

Guess ill stick with the 3450 for now!

This kind of makes me laugh they said stay away from OCZ when they started using the sandforce controller and you recommend another with a sandforce controller

Lookup "stay away from sandforce controller" and your get as many hits as "stay away from ocz ssd"

Adopt new technology early like getting a sandforce ssd and you should expect teething problems but that's all they were
Current HTPC Lian-Li PC-C37 • Gigabyte GA-E7AUM-DS2H • Intel C2D E8400 E0 Stepping • OCZ Vertex SSD • 4GB Corsair TwinX XMS2 DDR2 • Corsair HX650W Modular PSU (Free Upgrade) • LG CH08LS10 Blu-Ray Drive • Scythe Big Shuriken • Acousti DustPROOF 70mm Fan
