A friend is wanting xbmc on his Flatscreen Tv, his computer is a Compaq Presario All-in-One SG2-210UK , iu haven't seen it yet, but he says that there is no monitor output on it, that would allow connecting to a external source, so i was wondering...

Is it possible to connect this computer to a flatscreen tv, or is he stuck with the computer as it is?

Even if it has no DVI or HDMI out, there are lots of devices that allow a video out through a USB device.

I had a quick Google, and the SG2-210UK doesn't look an especially promising candidate for running XBMC. I doubt (though it's possible) that hardware acceleration will work with the Intel GPU it uses, so 1080p certainly won't play and some 720p videos will give problems too.

Thanks for this JH, have told him, and he's looking at buying a more decent computer to run xbmc, then i will install xbmc for him!
