Have new 3D setup which consists of an optoma EW536 ( Pro350W inthe US) DLP glasses and mac mini with intel hd3000 gpu and windows 7 on bootcamp.

Just tried stereoscopic player and aspect ratio of my mkv was small besides was getting constant drops....

Will xbmc work with my setup and the intel hd3000 work with 3D or do I maybe need 3dxl.....am short of money atm so not looking at spending more.

Didnt like stereoscopic player and hoping that xbmc might work ?

um, im prolly little late on this one, but....

ive recently been reading up on setting up dlp link setup for myself. seems that "framepacking" with stereoscopic player is only software based.

there is floating around a device driver package that tricks your system into thinking it is running nvidea, then you might try 3dtv play software in conjunction with powerdvd. then MAYBE you may achieve hardware playback?
