No expert, is there supposed to be an 8 on the filename extension, m3u sounds right but what's m3u8?

there's more to it than that. a m3u8 usually points to a http live streaming (hls) stream. it's currently not supported. i have been working (back in april) on it but it fell off my radar again.

Http".m3u8" live stream can not play in apple tv1 but it plays in apple tv2. When I changed the http with RTSP, it plays using ".m3u8" extension, but the video is jumping in Apple TV1. Any help and suggestion is very helpful. I am looking for any plaugging or player that can solve this problem and play the http .........m3u8 live stream
