Please can somebody explain me what's a difference between asound.conf and asoundrc ?

Hi,
the asound.conf file is the global configuration file
if you want to override these settings for a specific user, you can create a .asoundrc in the home directory of this user. All other user would get the settings from the global conf file.

and which link is between these files and audio configuration under xbmc ?
