Critque this build please
1 Intel Celeron E3400 Boxed € 31,- (lnk)
1 Asus T5-P5G41E € 114,68 (lnk)
1 OCZ Vertex Plus Sata II 2,5" SSD 30GB € 51,05 (lnk)
1 Kingston HyperX KHX1333C9D3B1/2G € 10,13
1 Asus EN210 SILENT/DI/512MD2(LP) € 26,99 (lnk)
233,85 euro total, incl. vat.
Background: The main goal is buttersmooth 1080i and 1080p playback.
I'm biased towards openelec on a SSD disk. I first thought
about getting a Shuttle XS35GTV2 for ope-elec but there's seems
to be a lot of trouble with the current NVIDIA ION 2
implementation.
So, I thought about building my own HTPC with a real nvidia
card for hardware acceleration. Something that's stable and
just works is the real goal here.
What do you guys think, is this any good?
