I just got my apple tv 2. These questions depends on whether it goes back to the store or not. If I go on vacation and I leave my apple tv2 at home. With the atv2 jail broken with xbmc. Will I be able to stream movies from my jb ipad1 from the airplane or hotel room? Also with the ATv2 being jail broken what's the total movies can I put on the atv2? And how much storage does it have. So I can limit my torrent downloads.

For the storage question the answer is zero. It has no real storage apart from the 8GB onboard "ssd"

You question about steaming was a bit hard to understand.. You want the atv to steam movies to your ipad?

Btw. This forum is for support for the xbmc, not for general questions about the atv2

You basically don't. You use it to stream contents from online providers or from your local share (like SMB, NFS etc). You're not supposed to store anything on atv2.

Oooh I get it now. Soo I add the movies from iTunes and stream it that way. Correct?

doing that way is what apple designed the atv2 for, so then no need to JB just buy or rent movies from itunes and stream them to ATV2... once XBMC is on there the idea is, as all the ATV2 owners here do, to have some sort of home network with digital copies of movies/tv shows stored on a network hard drive or media server with XBMC told to stream video files from the network drive... or from various sources on the internet using plugins, but that's another story!
