Hi,

This may be related to the other crashing thread http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=120323.

I can load XBMC once. If I shutdown XBMC back to Frontrow, the next attempt to load it hangs at the XBMC Eden splashscreen. I have to killall AppleTV to get back to Frontrow. I cannot reload XBMC until I have performed a hard reboot (unplug power cable). Rebooting the ATV using Menu+Down or SSH reboot (or NitoTV) does not help.

At the moment I am attributing all new weird crashes to the demise of Megaupload. Try disconnecting your Internet connection and start xbmc.

the 4.4.4 jailbreak is faulty thats the libpony thing ... we'll have to wait for a fixed seas0npass...

what i don't understand is why removing metadata.themoviedb.org,metadata.common.themoviedb.org, xbmc.metadata make it stop crashing every 5 seconds.... i've noted that i can run apps that install directly into the program files i.e. navi-x and repoinstaller. this has only happened in the past 3 days.. which is a few days of 4.4.4 working stable on edenbeta1

We bumped a faulty version too for the tmdb addon. This triggered a crash we where not aware of. This issue will be fixed in b2 and we will also fix the addon so that it doesn't crash b1 anymore. Atleast that is the plan ...
