Hey Guys,

I recently rebuilt my HTPC, which runs XBMC Live on linux 10.04 lucid lynx. After the setup, I was able to add all of my sources and scan them into the library, except for the movies. The tv shows and music i had got added fine. When i try to scan my movies into the library, XBMC reports that it cannot reach the remote server. I know that my internet connection is fine (it added the other sources, and I can ping google fine), and I was wondering if there was a setting somewhere I may be missing? I have my movie source set to download information from the MovieDB. Maybe the server is just down? Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yup lots, fortunately the forum search engine is still working.

I downloaded and install the Youtube addon which seemed to fix it, although it was still slower then before.

The youtube addon added a shared addon that was required for MovieDB.

Thanks vavwl, downloading the youtube app fixed my problem!
