XBMC 10.1: Context menu inaccessible
#1
Question
I just installed XBMC on a mac, and would like to add external sources to it (NAS). I read some threads, and basically all tell I need to access the Context Menu. I tried to press character 'c' multiple times in order to get to it, but system does not allow me.

Then I read about the existence of keyboard.xml under ~/Library/Application\ Suport/XBMC/userdata/keymaps. The directory exists, but it is completely empty.

Since there was no keyboard.xml file in this directory, I tried to create one from scratch, but XBMC still does not recognize the letter 'c' when I press it.

The sample file I created:

<keymap>
<global>
<keyboard>
<c>Context Menu</c>
</keyboard>
</global>
</keymap>

I just need to access this Context Menu.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The contextual menu will only open up if certain things are selected and have that option. It sounds like you just need to add sources: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=XBM...#Add_media
