thetvdb scraper issues

Hi all,

I just recently got xbmc dharma installed and tried adding TV shows following the guide (create directory structure, add sources in 'video', set content to thetvdb, refresh, etc) and it's not populating at all. I've tried creating many different names of shows and none of them get populated. Can you please pinpoint to what I'm doing wrong? Can't be this difficult. Below is my xbmc.log displaying a refresh attempt for a show called 'Friends':

Hello,

I can't really tell what is going on with that small snippit of log, but let me ask...

You have set you TV folder to "TV Shows" within XBMC?

How are you naming your shows and what is your directory structure? I can assure you that if you are doing everything right, "Friends" will get scraped. It's not an issue with TheTVDB or XBMC, it is an issue with what you are doing wrong somewhere.

Hi Mark,

My TV folder is C:\TV and its set to TV Shows in xbmc. For 'friends'' my directory structure looks like this C:\TV\Friends. Any other ideas? Thx

That's it. There are no episodes or any data in C:\TV\Friends. Should there be another subdirectory? I do get the thumbnail images and can view the details of the show in xbmc but there just aren't any episodes to play.

I'm glad this amused someone Smile. I was reading the quick start guide and didn't see that I needed to put in something for episodes. At least that points me to somewhere. I'll do some more digging. Thanks!

Hello again,

You did realize that you had to provide the files for XBMC to scrape and play...right?

Do you have any files (i.e. *.avi, *,mp4, *.mkv..etc) that you have XBMC pointed to, that you have scraped and will play within XBMC?

If not...that is your problem.
