As the title says, carried out a fresh install and installed Eden Beta 3 on main rig as well as laptop - same result - trailers buffer very slowly compared to The Trailers add-on. Doesn't matter which skin I use (tried Transparency and Aeon MQ3) the result is the same. Any ideas? Got a feeling this could be an XML tweak that I have to get my geek hat on for! lol

I'm having the same problem. 35mbps connection. Never had the problem before. I can download from Usenet at 5MB/s but streaming a trailer in XBMC Eden RC2 takes about 2 minutes to load.
