I was wondering if there is any way of completely disabling the thumbnail library in the AppData folder. I want XBMC to use thumbnails, fanarts etc. only from the folders with my media files. I create alot of my thumbnails and fanarts, and i have separate image files for every movie, album, artist, TVShow etc. I'm OK whith longer load times, so the XBMC library is just a waste of hard drive space for me.

No. Once the video/music thumbs are moved to the texture cache (I'm half way through doing videos) then something like this might be possible.
