I got in a Zotac ID36 yesterday and am running it now at home and it's nice. It has a 3D blu ray player which seems unnecessary for an HTPC. I just today got in an ID41 because I think someone told me it might be a better solution. Anyone else use the 41? I could always bring the 36 to work and use it here but just wondered if the 41 had any issues with XBMC or even if it had better hardware?

ah, OK same ION and CPU and everything? I might keep it and bring the 36 to work for auto updating our website. I wonder why they would give the 41 a higher model number than the 36 if it's identical except the blu ray player..

I'm coming from the world of building ultra gaming machines so all this ION stuff is new to me. Smile

It says it takes DDR3 800 soDIMM's, the closest I could find was 1066. I assume that will work?

Yeah, they should be downclocked automatically by the system, I had the same thing when sourcing RAMs for my Shuttle.
