This has to be a simple smart list problem

On my NAS, I created a top level directory named "Concerts" and with a content type "Music Videos." Each concert folder has a single file (MKV). XBMC finds all of the meta data.

I created a Concert smart list that looks for a "path that contains" test. I made this a favorite and added it to the home screen.

It is working, however it appears that it uses file view rather than library view. When I select the concert, it shows the .mkv file. When I select the mkv, it brings up the correct info page with all the correct metadata, play options, refresh, thumb, etc.

How do I skip that middle step where XBMC displays the mkv file, and just have a normal library mode display when I select the concert?

Thanks

Try adding it as a smart playlist to the main menu instead of a favorite.

Bingo! That worked.

I would like to let you know that WAF Nirvana was finally reached with your skin about 3 hours ago.

Uttered were those magic words: "Honey, now this is easy...don't change anything. Why don't you put this EXACT computer set up on our other TV's so that we can get rid of the Dish."

Also, the kids have started to go directly to XBMC rather than the Dish DVR.

I'm off to the Egg with Big_Noid to thank.

Really, thanks so much for your efforts - they are greatly appreciated.
