Sorry for the less than desirable title, it was the best way I can describe this.
I used Natty's Guide for setting up a remote without LIRC and all the buttons work fine however when I double click a button on the direction pad it acts like I'm holding the button down for a second (it moves the cursor repeatedly in that direction for some amount of time).
It's hard to tell if this happens just in XMBC or not. I tried using the remote to scroll and it seemed ok but I don't trust it. This only happens with the remote; the keyboard works just fine. I've tried setting the repeat and delay using ir-keytable -P -D but these don't seem to do anything (when I tried changing these values I did not restart just to clarify).
This is the last thing I need to get working for my Media Centre so any help will be tremendously appreciated.
