Hi XBMC Devers ..
you simply rock !
I just installed XBMC with PVR support for testing purposes on a Dell D400 notebook - about 8 years old, 1.6 GHz PIII (M) without PAE support, 1 GB Ram and an old school 855 GM intel graphics . .. XBMC runs and that relatively smooth ! I have more than 600 MB Ram free and even TV streaming from my backend works over wLan .. XBMC is a so fu**ing awesome piece of software !
[btw. linux - here crunchbang #! on that system as debian stable with backports rules too .. the last windows version that was installable on this machine was windows xp ]
