OS X 1080i instead of 1080p - Closed
#1
Hi,

I'm using XBMC Eden on a 2010 Mac Mini, plugged to a LOEWE Individual Selection 40 DR+ using HDMI.

When i check the resolution, for instance by switching from a TV program to XBMC my LCD display 1080i resolution instead of 1080p. Does anyone has an idea of how to change that ?

Thanks

Post a xbmc.log.

Do you have any problems with 1080i selected? Or is this some sort of cosmetic question here?

I'm not sure to see what you mean by cosmetic, i've bought a 4 K€ LCD, i have movies on 1080p so, i d'ont have any problems with 1080i but i wish to have the best quality Smile

I'll post the log in the evening, thanks.

davilla i know ... but xbmc isn't interlaced so i guess the tv will do the right thing in that case. But iirc we skip any interlaced resolutions. Beside that i'm missing the list of available resolutions in the xbmc.log. Davilla did i become blindHuh
