I thought the font size on the Home screen Labels i.e Music, Video etc etc were too large.
So being new to this and after some probing around found the setting in Font.xml located in /Applications/XBMC.frappliance/XBMCData/XBMCHome/addons/skin.confluence/720p

I changed each <size>50</size> under <name>font50caps_title</name> to <size>40</size>

for the Confluence version on my ATV 2 they needed changing on Lines 85, 188 & 281 because there is 1 for each of the 3 selectable Fonts.

I think it looks much better, now to find out how to adjust the spacing between each of the Labels.

You need change the <focusedlayout> and <itemlayout> in width and adjust the width of the controls...
e.g.
