[Linux] Best TV Tuner for OpenELEC
#1
Hi all...

I'm looking for a low profile TV Tuner card for PCI-E to be used in OpenELEC.

Also I have a SSD that OE is installed on, but I have a 1TB drive in the system, or a NAS on the network to record to.
So can OE be setup to use the TV Tuner to record to the Drive or Nas?

The TV Tuner will connect to a Sky satellite dish.

For a Sky Satellite.

Or:

I don't use Openelec myself but there is a webpage with supported tv tuners:
http://openelec.tv/find-help/supported-h.../tv-tuners

And yes, you can setup Openelec to record to your drive or NAS.

This one might work:
http://sundtek.com/shop/Digital-TV-Stick...-S/S2.html

I know the DVB-Cs from Sundtek have support in OpenELEC, so the driver might be the same one or can be included in future dev-releases.

Yep looks like the driver includes support:
