SmoothVideo Project

Video
Hi everbody,

I've found this project:
http://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Download

It's a project which is concerned with doubling the frame-rate of video/movies. I've downloaded it today for testing purposes, and MAN its great, all my movies are extreme smooth now (running all with 60FPS Big Grin ), but only with the "Media Player Classic".

So, i would really LOVE to see this feature in XBMC some day. Can anyone tell me if this could be possible?

I'm not sure I understand what you want.
I'm not a programmer, I don't know how easy/difficult it would be to integrate this into XBMC.

Quote:SVP actually is not a video player itself, but it enables almost any player to play smooth video.
Yeah, also in 3D Smile

If someone doesn't like it, he/she can disable it. I don't think that it should be integrated HARD without the option to disable it. There are so many features in XBMC, 99% are configurable, why shouldn't this be so?

Maybe look into DSPlayer. If this works with mediaplayer classic, it *should* work with DSPlayer.
