Problem with audio loss when using Optical Out
#1
Hey! I'm experiencing audio loss whenever i quit a movie after watching it with dolby sound(Optical audio, 5.1). I can't get any audio from xbmc until i restart the program and select a new movie. Is this a known problem or maybe an way to fix this? Special audio drivers maybe? Apart from that it runs very smooth on my Mac Mini.

Specs of my Mac Mini are: Mac Mini 2011, 2.3DC i5, 8gb Ram. Using an optical cable to my Logitech Z-5500 audio system.

Thanks in advance!

There are reports of skin sounds defaulting to the internal speakers after ending a video but sound usually returns when another video is selected. This was however reported via HDMI.

I suggest you post a log and also detail your setup ie. os version, xbmc version, mac os & xbmc audio settings.

PS: There are a few audio issues with Eden/Eden nightlies and Lion 10.7.4.
