I have XBMC on ATV2 Eden 11.0 and have noticed that recently when i start XBMC the Library starts to update.
I have checked the settings and this is turned off. so why is it still starting when booting up xbmc

I boot into XBMC and then do nothing. At main screen. wait a few seconds and Update begins.
I can see the top of screen that it starts to scan my folders ie TV Shows and then Movies.
I have 2 x ATV2's and both have the same configurations etc and addins.
1 starts to scan folders for updates and 1 does not...

Is this not what the video scanner is...

If not then I dont know why it keeps going into update mode to scan nfo's etc into the Library.

Could there be a corrupt db that could cause this.

I found out what it was.

1Channel addon has an option to Automate Library update in 1.6
I switched this off and it does not update.

as the addons are loading at boot, the addon caused the library update to start.
