Complete (or extended) stream names

hi,

would it be possible to implement (or have a place in the xml to implement ourselves) all the language tags for mkv (and i think ogm use it too) ?

english is basically working (eng tag lists english in the audio menu and shows the sound type (stereo for example), however says unknown instead of the encoder inserted track name) but others aren't (apologies if some are, i do know that japanese isn't).

here's an example:

could others be put in?

mkvmerge lists the following as the most common:
dut (dutch)
eng (english)
fin (finnish)
fre (french)
ger (german)
ita (italian)
jpn (japanese)
nor (norwegian)
por (portuguese)
rus (russian)
spa (castilian)
swe (swedish)
zho (chinese)

but of course, since not everyone would be happy with the above, a place for the user to put a complete listing would be nice Smile

thanks for your consideration

all the language codes are already contained in xbmc-root/system/players/mplayer directory in the iso639-1 and -2.xml files.

and i think you can add extra custom ones in your xboxmediacetner.xml file.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.

slight expansion on the request.
where in the image it says 'unkown', on the pc that is a custom track name (eg. director's commentary).

is it possible to make it say that custom name instead of unknown, or even completley get rid of the unknown part so it says 'english (stereo)' ?

thanks
