Win Changing soundcard from inside Xbmc dual audio - SOLVED!
#1
Hi there,
got issues in changing the sound card from inside xbmc. I wish to send sound to stero reciver while seeing movies, and hence wish to go form "ATI HDMI soundcard" to "Turtle beach advent micro II" for optical out for movies.

ATI HDMI works fine for just seeing TV and is set as default in win7 ofcouse then.

But then I change inside of XBMC nothing at all happens! And even I have looked on the internet and in this forum I seem to find nothing on this issues! I am pretty sure I had it working in a earlier build back in time but my memory might pull tricks on me! Secondly it should work, shouldn't it?

Using win7 + Eden!

Any suggestions? Hoping someone can guide me in the right way!

And, can xbmc send audio to all soundscards at once, would be nice if it could as an option you could enable!

Yes you should be able to choose your audio device. I'm not positive, but you may have to restart XBMC to see it have an effect. An no, you can not send the audio to all the devices at once, at least not that I am aware of.

got inspired by this tread:

And it is possible to get xbmc to send audio to 2 soundcards at the same time!

Her is my settings:

works super for now! only have to change audiosettings at system, and that is it! no other selecting needed during playback!
