Word on the street is XBMC Frodo will support Python screensavers. Here's my take, and it can be run as a script too (at least until Python screensavers are enabled in XBMC)

New clocks and themes are are easy to create - see the english layout - or the readme.txt included with the script

Hehe - doing a qlock style screensaver was also my intention and basically the reason for my initial Python Screensaver PR Wink

Doesn't seem to be working for me. Everything installed fine, screensaver launches properly, text is displayed but nothing is highlighted.

Running Frodo Alph 6 on Windows 7...

Only Alpha 5 works. I'll release a Frodo Final version after the feature freeze and before the final release.

still a WIP. I got auto-updating working (I rock). soon I'll fix the other problems
